In this entry, I will be sharing with you some fun facts and my 3 Days 2 Nights staying experience at the Primula Beach Hotel Kuala Terengganu, Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia.

Primula Beach Hotel Kuala Terengganu is an international class business hotel that established back in 1984. This 36 years old hotel is acclaimed as one of the famous landmarks in Kuala Terengganu because of the uniqueness of its beach front location that is just few step away from the business hub and places of attractions in town. 

The picturesque and scenic view of the South China Sea and gorgeous sandy beach with the cool breeze rusting through the swinging coconut tree is the backdrop of this hotel.

Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

You can have your peace of mind when you stay here at Primula Beach Hotel as they also adheres to health and safety SOP set by the government. This include and not limited to the temperature body scanning, check-in on the MySejahtera apps, observing physical distancing especially at the check-in counter and hand sanitizer is available at every corner of the hotel.

The check-in process was a fast and easy handled by the friendly staffs at the registration counter. So, we will be staying at the Deluxe Room with connecting doors and this is so convenience especially when you are traveling in groups and big families.

There are total of 149 carpeted Deluxe Room where each room comes with its own private balcony with two different views. You can either choose for the city view or pool view that overlooking the South China Sea and lovely sandy beach.

The intelligent panel just located near the bed that allows you to control the air-conditional system, lights, radio, colored TV with cable channel and other electrical appliances.

The rooms also come with its own safety box, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and most importantly the attached bathroom with standing shower and complete set of toiletries.

Guys, this is just the room that I'm staying for 2 nights. We were fortunate that been given a chance to explore the suite room available here in the Primula Beach Hotel Kuala Terengganu.

There are total of 9 Primula Suites that come with separate living and dining rooms, spacious bedroom complemented by large changing room and wardrobe.

The bathroom is extra spacious and equipped with a Jacuzzi for a relaxing bath.

Similar with other room, it also have it own mini-bar with coffee and tea making facilities but extra microwave.

 Foods and Beverages Paradise

Primula Beach Hotel Kuala Terengganu offers a wide range of local including international cuisines at Bayu Restaurant and Anjung Bistro. There is also a Kuala Kopi Lounge that come with internet access, provides an appealing ambience for those who enjoy a special tete-a-tete with friends or would like to unwind and surf the internet over a drink and a light snack.

On the first day lunch at Bayu Restaurant, we ordered the chef recommended "Must-Try" Nasi Timur Tengah that comes with a quarter part of roasted chicken, mixed pickles (acar), a bowl of soup and green sambal chili paste.

We also ordered few drinks and cakes for our desserts as well.

While enjoying the sunset, we went to the Anjung Bistro where you can enjoy sitting by the beach and dining under the starry sky by night. Here, we ordered the lempeng nyior and ubi kayu with laksa kuah Terengganu.

 We were given a chance to see the demonstration of preparing the lempeng nyior by the chef.

When the night gets colder, we tried the Special Steamboat set to warm us up at the Anjung Bistro indoor section where you can have this from 3.00 P.M. to 10.00 P.M daily with minimum for 2 persons. Just like other steamboat set, you can have two choice of soups and we go for Tom Yam soup and Chicken soup.

As for breakfast, it will be served at Bayu Restaurant where you can choose the set offers here at only RM25 per set and serves from 7.00 A.M until 10.30 A.M. only. We tried the Nasi Dagang set and Fried Kuey Teow set which I personally recommends you to try it when you stay or just visiting for dining purpose only.

Before we check-out on the last day, we tried the last dish that recommended by the chef once again which is the Kari Kepala Ikan with rice that priced at RM45 per set. This set is available from 12.00 P.M until 10.00 P.M. only at Bayu Restaurant.

Activities That You Can Do It Here At Primula Beach Hotel

During the leisure time, you can either spend time hanging out with your family and friends at the pool or even personal relaxing time by the pool side. The swimming pool at this hotel is suitable for both adult and children.

There is a new attraction just added into the list of activity that you can do here which is the hammock area where you can rent the hammock for only RM10 per hour and enjoy the sea-breeze. Since there is only three unit of this hammock and book your slot to avoid disappointment.

Based on the website, you can have more activities here where you can make an early request at their recreation center for the arrangement such as beach football, beach volleyball and there is also outdoor Giant Chess, Mini Gym and Kid's playground on the property too. Check this out when you check-in to find out more as I personally did not make an arrangement for this during my stay.
