Impiana Hotel Ipoh, Perak - Your Next Staycation Hotel in Ipoh

In this entry, I would like to share with you my experience staying at Impiana Hotel Ipoh, Perak during my last visit to Ipoh. Just a quick fun facts about Ipoh before we discover more about this 4-star hotel. 

  1. Ipoh is located approximately 180 KM from Kuala Lumpur, the largest city and 123 KM from Georgetown, the third largest city in Malaysia. How about Ipoh? Well, Ipoh is the fourth largest city in Malaysia. (Data source back in 2010).
  2. Ipoh was declared as a city during the year I was born okay, so Ipoh has been recognized as a city for almost 3 decades now. 

Alright, let's get back to my main sharing of this entry. 

 

Impiana Hotel Ipoh, Perak is a well-known, 4-star Ipoh's leading hotel that really popular among the tourists and even the locals for its accommodation, dining and entertainment purposes. Located in the heart of the busiest city in Perak, this hotel nested within a garden setting and truly a haven of comfort, elegance and luxury, coupled with outstanding services.

So guys! These are the 5 reasons why you should choose Impiana Hotel Ipoh as your accommodation when you visit Ipoh on your next trip. 

1. Strategic Location

This hotel is easily accessible from major highways linking West Malaysia's major thoroughfare and strategically located within majestic surroundings of historical significance. The "More than Just  A Theme Park" theme park is only a short drive away and it also well-positioned  in the Times Square of Ipoh where commerce, leisure, people and culture come together in kaleidoscopic harmony. Other than that, the famous insta-worthy street such as the Concubine Lane is just 7-minute drive away.

I departed from Kuala Lumpur around 1.00 P.M and arrived at Ipoh after 2 hours drive. As usual, the hotel followed all the SOP set by the authority including scanning of MySejahtera and temperature scan. At the check-in counter, the front office staff even sanitized the pen we used to fill-up documents and my room key with disinfectant before collecting it from them.

2. Comfortable and Spacious Room

The room booked for me was the 24m² Deluxe King Bed Room that comes with a king-sized bed that suitable for 2 pax and I shared with my housemate. Obviously, the room was so comfortable and nicely design with minimalist concept yet complete with all necessities including free WIFI (thanks as I really need it for work purpose).

Each deluxe room also comes with a bath-tub where I can really enjoy relaxing moment and suitable for a therapy session with the bath bomb to soak my stress away.

This room is perfect for my leisure trip and really suitable for a business trip too!

3. Foods and Beverages

The Coffee House is an in-house dining that located at the lobby level of this hotel. It offers guests with its best local and international cuisine. Since this coffee house is a smoke-free area, a designated smoking area is available at the balcony seating with the swimming pool view. 

So you know that there is a swimming pool available in this hotel that suitable for the kids and adults. This is the children most excited playground whenever they stay at the hotel.

So, during my stay here at Impiana Hotel, I had my three meals started with my hi-tea on my arrival, followed by dinner and last but not least, breakfast buffet before I check out from the hotel.

I ordered the "Cucur Udang" with a glass of Iced Ipoh White Coffee for my hi-tea. This crispy, prawn fritter set is priced at RM14 nett and it comes with a cup of teh tarik. There is a fresh prawn meat in every fritter and its blend perfectly with the aromatic famous Ipoh coffee. 

This set is available on weekdays (Monday to Friday) at 2.30 P.M to 4.30 P.M only. You guys definitely need to try this out these sets.

For dinner, we tried the recommended ala carte dishes; the Nasi Goreng Kampung, Nasi Briyani Gam Chicken, Nasi Briyani Gam Lamb and Hainanese Chicken Chop.

The Coffee House offers breakfast buffet at very affordable and reasonable price, guys! The breakfast buffet is serves as early as 7 A.M until 10.00 A.M and most importantly guys, kids at age of 4 and below, eat for FREE!

4. Parking Space For Hotel Guests

There are ample parking spaces designated for the hotel guests either in front of the hotel or basement parking. The entrance to the basement is just beside the UMNO Building. You can have your peace of mind if you are traveling here by your own vehicles.

    Wau bagus ni. Hari tu ada plan nak ke Ipoh dan mencari hotel sesuai untuk sekeluarga. Sebab nak play tourist la. Nak makan sedap, kopi, mural dan tempat menarik yang lain. Hehhe. Nanti bleh ke Impiana Ipoh.

    Memang lama tak pi Utara bercuti..last pi Penang dulu masa anak kecik umur 4 tahun..
    Kalau balik pun ke Perak, kampung suami, pun lama tak pi..
    Lepas ni kalau ke sana boleh stay sini, sebab kat Johor pun ada Impiana Hotel, mesti keselesaaannya pun sama..
