Cruise Tasik Putrajaya was officially launched by our 4th Malaysia Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad back in 30th August 2003. CTP has hosted visitor and serves to complement the city's tourism appeal, allowing visitors to see and marvel at the stunning sights of more than 20 Putrajaya landmarks from another unique perspective, by cruise.

Cruise Tasik Putrajaya offers sightseeing tours on board either with the traditional handcrafted perahu (Gondola) as well as air-conditioned cruise boats with dining option. Apart from the regular boat tours, private boat charter and venue rental are also available.

"As a starts, Lepaq@Cruise session will be held on the 4th Saturday of every month where the cruise will starts at 9.00 P.M. and departs from the Cruise Tasik Putrajaya Presint 1 Jetty. What make this cruise session more interesting is different theme will be introduced each month to give different vibes and experience to the cruiser. The frequency of the cruise session will be increased depending on the demand from the tourism market. The price offers for Lepaq@Cruise was so attractive and really worth it where an adult couple was priced at RM250.00 per couple (2 pax) and the kid at RM75.00 per children", said Dato' Zaharah Selamat, the Chief Executive Officer of Marina Putrajaya Sdn. Bhd. (MPSB).

The first cruise session had taken place last month with the theme of "Silver and Black" in conjunction of the Putrajaya 25th Year Anniversary, the Silver Jubilee celebration. The cruise was decorated in Silver and Black and the cruisers were also came with their attire following the theme set for that night.

 

In conjunction of the Malaysia Day celebration, Lepaq@Cruise is introducing the "Tradisi and Sarong" theme and the cruisers for this month are encourage to wear traditional or sarong outfit as a sign of unity and appreciation toward to the arts and cultures of Malaysia.

How to Get There?

Putrajaya is easily accessible from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Kuala Lumpur City Center. To board the cruise, make your way to Dataran Putrajaya, the biggest square near Putra Mosque and Prime Minister's Office. Walk down the steps from Dataran Putra and walk toward the left side (follow the Cruise Tasik signage). You should be able to reach the jetty in less than 5 minutes walk. The ticketing counter is located at Putra Jetty, just underneath the Putra Bridge.
