"Let's get started!"
I was thrilled when I received an invitation from Tourism Malaysia Central for the "Program Lawatan Produk Pelancongan Di Negeri Sembilan Bersama Social Media Influencers" and my first reaction without hesitation was "YES, I DO". This trip happened on the 29th October 2021 - 31st October 2021. After two weeks of waiting and preparation, finally the day I have been waiting for has arrived.
Our first day started with the gathering of all the participants at Malaysia Tourism Centre (MaTiC), Kuala Lumpur. As we are traveling in the new normal, the first thing first before the group departure is to perform the COVID-19 Ag Saliva Self Test.

Day 2 First Stop: PD London Bus Retro Village
On the second day, we have an easy and relax start by exploring a place where you definitely need to plan for your next staycation as it offers a different kind of staycation experience that you can't get it elsewhere from the hotels too! None others, it is the PD London Bus Retro Village.
PD London Bus Retro Village is located at the beachfront of Teluk Kemang, one of the famous beach in Port Dickson. So, when you stay here, the beach is just within a reach! There are a total of 3 different types of lodges available; 11 units of Kampung (Village) style lodges known as Atap A-Loft (Air-conditioned) and Atap B-Loft (Electrical fan) that suitable for 2 adults, 2 units of Authentic Double Decker Red Bus all the way from United Kingdom that can fit up to max of 9 adults with 2 children and last but not least, 8 units of Comfortable Container lodges known as Cotaks-Cotaks that can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children.
Container Lodge - Cotaks-Cotaks (RM160/per night - S) or (RM260/per night - L) |
Double Decker - Red Bus Lodge For Group Vacation (RM 300/per night) |
If you would love to camp here, you can opt for the Campsite option where you can set up your tent and surrounded by some vintage/retro double decker bus! Take note that tent is not provided ya, you just renting the common area and you will need to bring your own camping equipment.
I personally love this place not only because it is close to the beach, but the environment that is so different that make me fall in love with it. In this unique place too, there are lot of vintage collection here that really blew my mind away! I saw these items during my childhood before it slowly replaced by the new modern era of Y2K. Check this out guys!

Day 2 Second Stop: Jeti Nelayan Teluk Pelanduk
After visiting PD London Bus Retro Village, we had our quick lunch just right in front of the entrance to this retro village at Ayam Bakar Pasu Terlangkup. The concept of dining here is Self-Service where you will need to order and pick-up your own foods and drinks at the stall, then make the payment.
Most of us having the Nasi Ayam since this is the quickest and iced lemon to quenches our thirst. While having our lunch, we decided to visit a nearby jetty that kind of well-known to the local, but not to few of us from Kuala Lumpur as this gonna be our first time visiting. It is just approximately around 10 minutes from Ayam Bakar Pasu Terlangkup.
Jeti Nelayan Teluk Pelanduk The View On The Left |
This is definitely a perfect spot for you to take the sunset scenery and some even mentioned about milky way since it is quite undisturbed and open space. Maybe I can come and revisit this place again to hunt for the sunset view and also take some night scenery shots here in the near future. Agree?
While we were visiting during the bright sunny day, here are some of the shots that I can share with you.

Thanks Tourism Malaysia For The Umbrella |
There is a restaurant at the entrance so you can order foods and enjoy the scenery that Jeti Nelayan Teluk Pelanduk has to offer with your family and friends here. But during our visit, the restaurant is still out from operation, maybe too early at 2.00 P.M.
Day 2 Third Stop: Cape Rachoda Lighthouse, Tanjung Tuan
Our next stop on Day 2 will be Cape Rachado Lighthouse! Now, you must be wondering actually Tanjung Tuan is located at Melaka or Negeri Sembilan, right? Let me shed some lights on this based on my reading.
This lighthouse is located in the Alor Gajah District which is exclave of Melaka adjacent to Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. It is believed to be one of the oldest lighthouse here in our country, dating back to the time when Portuguese rules Melaka during the 16th century. The main function of this construction was to guide the Portuguese ships through the narrow Straits of Melaka.
However, the present lighthouse was constructed in the 1863 when Melaka status as a British-ruled Straits Settlement. An additional concrete tower was built by to the original lighthouse to house a MEASAT radar with the function to monitor ship traffic in the Strait of Melaka and to aid in communication.
The lighthouse is not open to the public, hence we are not allow to explore the lighthouse structure. So, we just walk around and took some magnificent view scenery overseeing the Straits of Melaka.

Sun-kisses At Pulau Intan, Tanjung Tuan! Seriously Love The View And Environment Here |
I feel like I am exploring the private beach as it is so quiet and only us occupying the whole beach ya! The beach is pretty clean except some common area where we can see litters were left behind from the previous visitors. Hey, be a responsible visitors if you are visiting any attractions in near future, do bring the litter with you unless there are trash bins prepared! Don't destroy the beauty of the places with the unethical behaviors.
After spending about half and hour here, it is time for us to hike back up the trail to reach the top! This is the time when you fully understood why the trail was called "Denai Tangga Taubat". Hiking down took us 10 - 20 minutes but going back up, we need double of the time with multiple pit stops ya! Bethol-Bethol Bertaubat Ye, guys! It was a easy hiking but the stony staircase is the real culprit!
Will I Come Back Again In Near Future? Of Course, Yes! |
Day 2 Forth Stop: Uncle Wong Happy Farm
Actually we plan to visit Batu Putih but we kinda run out of time since we will need to reach Uncle Wong Happy Farm based on the time slot that was arranged for us. So, maybe we will revisit Tanjung Tuan again, okay? Uncle Wong Happy Farm is located at Lukut, Negeri Sembilan. It is just an hour plus journey from Kuala Lumpur depending on the traffic. But since we are already here at Port Dickson, it took us about half and hour to reach the destination. The road is kinda bumpy and rough as we will need to travel through the unpaved road before reaching the entrance of Uncle Wong Happy Farm.

Uncle Wong Happy Farm Entrance |
Our first activity here will be the ATV ride! By this time, we are already PRO ya guys! This is the third time we have the ATV ride but trust me, although we are riding the ATV again and again, each offers us a different kind of experiences. Here at Uncle Wong Happy Farm, the route that we going to conquer will be a hilly estate! The entire course will be completed within an hour time.

ATV Ride Safety Briefing |
Before the real journey begins, we were given 5 to 10 minutes riding around the entrance for us to familiarize with our own ATV and once everyone is comfortable, the journey begin that led by the staff. The route will explore the estate full with the plantations, ponds and great nature views too!
ATV Ride At Uncle Wong Happy Farm |
For me, the best time to visit will be before the dawn as we will have the chance to view the best sunset where you can't get it else where. It has it own charm compare to the sunset at the city or by the beach.
I Am So In Love With This Sunset View At Uncle Wong Happy Farm |
Some Of The Challenging Trail That Will Make You Scream! |
That's a wrap for our ATV ride after one hour journey exploring the estate. Next, we have the water ride by the lake. I took the pedal boat ride while my friends opt for the kayak! Each ride is for two person only.
I had so much fun here and before we depart, Uncle Wong invited us for a quick game. It really tested our speed and accuracy tho! The machine has 10 sticks and it will be dropped randomly. I just manage to catch two to three out of ten with my own way! After everyone tried it out, Uncle Wong shared with us a trick on how we can catch more ya and voila, I manage to catch 8 out of 10 okay. Do you wanna know the trick? Let me know, okay.
I Manage To Catch 8 Out Of 10! Cool right? |

Day 3 First Stop: Muzium Negeri Sembilan
Finally, we have come to the last day of my weekend trip with Tourism Malaysia Central. It was pretty relaxing because we will have more leisure time as there will be no more outdoor activities. After checking out from the hotel, we visited Muzium Negeri Sembilan.
The Muzium Negeri Sembilan is located at Jalan Sungei Ujong, Seremban and it is open to the public with NO MORE AGE RESTRICTION, but the supervision of children is under the responsibility of parent/guardians. There will be no FEE required to visit and explore the museum.
The main building has two floors of exhibition that share about the culture and history of Negeri Sembilan and also some Malaysia history. Next to the main building, there is another exhibition that showcase the house of Negeri Sembilan where you can actually enter and visit the structure itself.

Day 3 Second Stop: Masjid Sri Sendayan
Our last destination will be the Masjid Sri Sendayan.
Masjid Sri Sendayan is known for its magnificent building and quoted as one of the prettiest mosque in Malaysia. The construction was started in 2015 and it took 4 years to be completed on the 2019 where it is open to the public on the 20th September 2019.
The mosque is built on an area of 4.5 hectares with 3 halls that can accommodate up to 5000 crowds (or better known as jemaah at a time). Besides the prayer area, it is equipped with lecture hall, library, multi-purpose hall, administrator building, dining hall, "bilik pengurusan jenazah" and home quarters for the staffs.
