The Cuxedo - Classy Metallurgy

Classy is not something that is immediately associated with SEVENFRIDAY, but the game changer is done by their fiendishly clever designers when they decided to marry ancient metallurgic technique with a classic interpretation of their signature multi-layered dial. 

 

This is how The Cuxedo - The Classy Metallurgy is created in its unique way. It started with its animation ring that is created with the Damascene process that gives a distinctive copper and brass effect. Damascene is an ancient process which has been lost to time and is recognizable only by the unique wave patterns in the alloy itself.

The design is then contrasted with the stainless steel bezel and crown in gun metal PVD, giving the watch a more masculine feel with which SEVENFRIDAY brand is more often associated with. Perfect, but wait! 

 

Here is another twist awaiting because SEVENFRIDAY's creative little tinkerers putting a classic Opaline white dial, surrounding the inner ring which itself interspersed with 10 applied luminous hour markers to surprise us. 

 

The Stainless Steel Bezel and Crown in Gun Metal PVD

The final layer is made of gunmetal Geneva stripes, incorporating a skeletonized section to showcase the inner mechanical workings of the watch. To ensure that you don't lose track of the time, a large arrow pointing to the ever moving seconds disk is added. 

Last but not least, the final elegant touch is achieved by adding a simple straight cut black calf leather strap with tone-on-tone stitching and gun metal pin buckle. 

Skeletonized Section To Showcase The Inner Mechanical Workings

Et voila! Showcasing A Tuxedo with Copper trimmings aka The PS2/02 with a sapphire crystal to be really tough yet elegant. 

Something special about this Cuxedo is the continuation of its first series but now opens up an ownership to the new possibilities within the SEVENFRIDAY universe. You can now register your Cuxedo in SEVENFRIDAY's proprietary app where it offers you your very own NFT, a digital certificate, authenticated by a blockchain contract, attesting to your ownership of a genuine SEVENFRIDAY product!
