Mi MAGGI Celebrates Its 51st Anniversary With The Annual MAGGI Sah Malaysia! Campaign In Collaboration With PRESMA, PRIMAS, Celebrities And Food Influencers
To many of us, MAGGI is not just a 2-minutes instant noodle but it is a lifetime of many bachelors like me! It is one of the best and most convenient food that we can have whether you are at home, in the office, or while traveling and these are just to name a few.
But do you know that Mi MAGGI is celebrating 51 years of history with Malaysians this year? Yes, you read it right, guys!
Mi MAGGI was first introduced in Malaysia dated on 1971 and since then, it has been a Malaysian favorite, from a hearty bowl of MAGGI Soup noodles at home to a plate of MAGGI Mi Goreng at the restaurant.
As to celebrate this half of century's memorable journey with all Malaysians, MAGGI proudly organized its annual MAGGI Sah Malaysia! campaign, which was organized in conjunction with Malaysia's 65th Independence Day as well as the 59th Malaysia Day recently.
Today, the campaign has reached its culmination via the Grand Finale and on-ground fiesta celebration, the MAGGI's biggest event of the year which was held today on the 20th of October 2022 at the architectural and historical landmark of the Malaysia Tourism Centre (MaTiC).
The MAGGI Sah Malaysia! campaign themed DuniaKu Bersama MAGGI celebrates the richness and heritage of MAGGI creations from home to food outlets, paying tribute to the culinary creativity of warungs, mamak stalls, and food trucks nationwide, all of which form the colorful fabric of Malaysian lifestyle. said Juan Aranols, CEO of Nestle (Malaysia) Berhad.
This MAGGI Sah Malaysia! event is in its third year and continuously aims to bring out the best of the Malaysian food culture of eating together, and stay connecting with one another at the local eateries with their favorite MAGGI dishes.
According to Juan Aranols, CEO of Nestle (Malaysia), many food operators were severely impacted during the COVID-19 pandemic but now with more Malaysians eating out and socializing once again as normalcy resumed, it is indeed the right timing for MAGGI to organize this campaign with the aims to celebrate the unique and viral Mi MAGGI creations.
A Sah Malaysia! travelogue was hosted by MAGGI Ambassador Sheila Rusly, MAGGI CukupRasa Ambassador, Datin Paduka Eina Azman and MAGGI Pedas Giler Ambassador, MK K-Clique, and through the Kembara DuniaKu MAGGI, a total of 12 local warungs and eateries nationwide were successfully tracked down by MAGGI to capture their viral MAGGI recipes.
These food operators were presented with a MAGGI Sah Malaysia! plaque today in recognition of their Malaysian-endorsed signature MAGGI dish.

Not only that, these viral recipes went on to inspire other food operators to submit their own creative MAGGI recipes through the ResipiKu KreatifKu online challenge. Out of all the creative submissions, the 8 finalists will vie for total cash prizes of RM 10,000 today.
The MAGGI Sah Malaysia! campaign also celebrates the creativity of consumers through the ResipiKu DuniaKu challenge and culminating in today's live cook-off session where 12 consumer finalists vie for three Grand Prizes of RM 5,000 cash prizes each.

MAGGI also presented the honorary plaques that were accorded to Persatuan Pengusaha Restoran Muslim Malaysia (PRESMA) and Persatuan Pengusaha Restoran India, Malaysia (PRIMAS) during the event today.
These plaques are presented to fully recognize their contributions and efforts in regulating and revitalizing the food operators' businesses in Malaysia during the new normal, and for their long-standing support for MAGGI by their members comprising over 4,500 and 1,500 vendors in PRESMA and PRIMAS, respectively.

MAGGI acknowledged that Malaysian food operators have journeyed together with MAGGI over the decades, similarly with MAGGI's diverse consumers across all walks of life who continue to enjoy MAGGI good food moments while creating warm yet memorable connections.
Hence, MAGGI Sah Malaysia! is indeed a celebration of the long-standing relationship between MAGGI with Malaysians.
In line with the spirit of "You and MAGGI, Cook The Difference", we aim to inspire and encourage Malaysians to make a difference through cooking - be it for themselves, for their loved ones at home or sustaining their food businesses through creating 'Eureka' moments with crowd-pulling MAGGI dishes.
