In conjunction with their 10th Anniversary Release of this seminal single, Bastille has come together with Hans Zimmer, the multiple Academy Award and Grammy-winning composer to release a special reworking of their era-defining international hit single, Pompeii.

 

As on the record, this hit has reached 748 M views on the YouTube channel. 

 

The reworking is showcasing the captivating live recording of the track that was filmed in Cardiff with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.

 

For your information, this glistening rendition entitled Pompeii MMXXIII came about as frontman Dan Smith and Zimmer were working together on other projects. What a brilliant idea to do that, isn't it?

This great single remains in the Top 50 most streamed songs of all time in the UK with over 3.5 billion streams in total.
