The Budimas Charitable Foundation has organized a dual celebration in conjunction with World Children's Day and Deepavali with more than 250 underprivileged children.
This event unfolded as a day of joy, immersion in cultural celebrations and this is part of the testament to the foundation's unwavering commitment to the well-being of children from diverse backgrounds.

The memorable night was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including YM Tunku Dato' Yaacob Khyra, Chairman of The Budimas Charitable Foundation, and members of the Board of Trustees, including YBhg Datin Seri Maneesah, YM Tengku Muinuddin Putra, Mr. Steve Teoh, Mr. Yudistra Darma Dorai and Mr. Yong Yoke Keong.
Ms. Anne Rajasaikaran, The Principal Officer of The Budimas Charitable Foundation also added to the distinguished line-up, and the whole evening was infused with values, unity, and celebrations.
I must say that the responsibility given to us, by the public that donates and pledges with Budimas, is a serious one so it is without a doubt, that we will do our utmost best, to provide the same quality of life that any other children would have. Ms. Anne Rajasaikaran mentioned in her speech emphasized the public's vital role in effecting positive change for children in Malaysia.

The evening commenced with a warm welcome speech by Ms. Anne Rajasaikaran as she emphasized the significance of tonight's celebration followed by a heart-warming ceremony to light the candles, known as Kuttu Vilakhu by the Board of Trustees to officially kick off the night.
Besides the Board of Trustees, the event is also attended by partners and corporate entities such as Yayasan Institut Jantung Negara (IJN), Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Farm Fresh Sdn Bhd, and Havan Clothing.
On top of that, there are special guests and children from various homes and villages, including Pusat Jagaan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Budmas Orion, Rumah Kebajikan Orang Kurang Upaya, and anak Yatim Rita, Persatuan Kebajikan Sri Bala Illam, Yayasan Hiichiikok, Pusat Jagaan Titian Kaseh, Rumah Hope, and Kampung Orang Asli Bukit Kepong.
There is a cheque presentation to Yayasan IJN and Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur to kick off the Budimas Children Medical Care Fund Programme in 2024. For your information, this gesture signifies the foundation's vision to enhance the lives of children.

The night was unfolded with a delightful array of delicacies for the children, accompanied by captivating performances showcasing the incredible talents of these children.
To make it even more memorable for the children, there is the Budimas trademark activity featuring competitions to spice up the excitement where Kolam Coloring and Children's Day Card Decoration were held to showcase the artistic flair of the children.

The night followed with a gesture of care where all children received a festive goodie bag and Deepavali packets which were presented by all of the dignitaries, along with the prize giving ceremony for the winning teams for each category of the competitions.

About Budimas Charitable Foundation
The Budimas Charitable Foundation is a non-governmental and non-profit organization. Incorporated in September 1998 under the Trustees Act 1952 and governed by the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) since December 1999 with tax exemption status.
The foundation addresses the needs of underprivileged children through a give-pronged approach, forming five programmes: the Budimas Home Charity Fund (BHCF), the Budimas Food Charity Fund (BFCF), the Budimas Education Charity Fund (BECF), the Budimas Performing Arts Fund, and the Budimas Children Medical Care Fund.
These programmes aim to provide children with their basic necessities, including food, education, a home, cultural enrichment, and healthcare.
