Suria KLCC, Malaysia's iconic experiential shopping destination recently has just recently concluded its much-anticipated 'Flavours of Suria' culinary showcase with a 5-day celebration of gastronomic artistry held from 21 - 27 August 2024.
This 5-day culinary showcase is part of Suria KLCC's month-long F&B campaign in August with invited media representatives and shoppers to explore the diverse dining experiences.
As of today, there are more than 100 F&B outlets that offer an extensive array of both local and international cuisines.
During this exclusive event, Suria KLCC offered a series of hands-on workshops and exclusive tastings that left us inspired and delighted, definitely true to its tagline - "Always Something New".
'Flavours of Suria' Event Highlights

- Xiao Long Bao workshop - DIN by Din Tai Fung
It was fun to join the guided workshop through the intricate process of crafting delicate dumplings by the restaurant's head chef.

These offerings perfectly captured the theme of the event where we were able to learn about the traditional techniques with contemporary and fusion tastes.

- Fuel Shack - The Signatures Food Court
The culinary adventure continued and moved to Fuel Shack which is located at the Signatures Food Court.
Before we made our own burger, we were invited to don aprons and take on the role of burger chefs.
This hands-on workshop provided a unique opportunity to craft personalized burgers using 100% grass-fed Australian beef and lamb patties. It was a complete meal that comes with crispy fries and all the trimmings.

As a homegrown Malaysian brand, Fuel Shack's participation highlighted the local flair within the 'Flavours of Suria' campaign.
This experience is not only engaging but also underscored that the campaign was inclusive of not just F&B restaurants, but also popular food courts outlets which reflect Suria KLCC's commitment to making every meal an immersive experience.

The exploration of flavors took a deeper cultural turn at Cili Kampung where media representatives were treated to an exclusive masterclass in authentic Malay cuisine.
The session is led by Cili Kampung's Executive Chef Rizal Zamani and Suria KLCC's Head Chef Bella which focuses on the art of preparing and platting traditional dishes.

- TGI Fridays Suria KLCC
The excitement of the 'Flavours of Suria' campaign continued at TGI Fridays with the interactive taco-making workshop marking the launch of the new menu.
At this workshop, guests created their own tacos from a variety of fresh ingredients and engaged with the brand in a dynamic and creative way.
The all-new TGI Fridays Fresh Mex menu features 11 authentic Mexican dishes designed to ignite your taste buds.
From the sizzling flavours of street tacos to the rich Mexi bowls, this menu is a celebration of Mexico's vibrant and diverse cuisine.
- Imperial Chakri Palace
Later in the campaign, Imperial Chakri Palace offered a taste of royal Thai cuisine in a sophisticated tasting session that featured Mieng Kham Scallop, Premium Crab in Yellow Curry, and the exquisite Chakri Red Ruby Water Chestnut dessert.
The elegance and uniqueness of the dishes left a lasting impression on attendees.
